These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Snapper Apps website, apps, and related services ("Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.
1. Acceptance of terms
By installing a Snapper Apps application from the Shopify App Store, or by visiting our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have authority to bind the entity you represent, and accept these Terms on behalf of yourself and that entity.
2. Description of services
Snapper Apps provides eCommerce productivity tools including:
- Afterpay Order ID Update — automated synchronisation of Afterpay transaction data into Shopify orders
- Storefront Discounts — display of discount labels and savings on Shopify storefronts
- Multi Store Sync — automated product and theme synchronisation across multiple Shopify stores
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Account registration and responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
- Not share your account credentials with third parties
- Use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms
4. Payments and billing
Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of sign-up. All fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as expressly set out herein or required by law.
For apps installed via the Shopify App Store, billing is handled by Shopify under their standard app billing terms. For direct purchases, we use a PCI-compliant payment processor.
We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use our Services to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Transmit harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive content
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services
- Resell or sublicense access to the Services without our written consent
6. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in the Services, including software, design, trademarks, and documentation, are owned by or licensed to Snapper Apps. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in our Services.
You retain full ownership of your store data. By using our Services, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to access and process your data solely as required to provide the Services.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snapper Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Services.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by you to Snapper Apps in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may terminate by uninstalling our apps and closing your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice at our discretion.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. We will retain your data for up to 30 days following termination before deletion, unless legally required to retain it longer.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days before the effective date. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
